100 Followers Giveaway

It's been three weeks since I started this new blog and already I have a 100 followers. Thank you so much! I just couldn't let this awesomeness pass without a giveaway! And lucky for you I've been buying a few signed books that I think you'll enjoy.

First up is EVERNEATH by Brodie Ashton. The first time I saw her cover I was head over heals in love --




Pretty, no? And yes, it's signed.

Next we have the too fun and too cute Pride & Popularity by Jenni James. Can I tell you, Jenni is one of the nicest people, EVER. She is so full of life and it reflects in her writing. Any Austen fan would love this book.



And since I can't send these puppies overseas I'm also giving away a $10 gift card to any place of the winners choice (it doesn't even need to be something to buy books!)

I have read the Pride and Popularity as an ebook. I loved it. But since I haven't read the Everneath, I'd like to win that one. And I can't believe I hadn't signed up as a follower on this one yet. But I have fixed that.

I've been waiting and wanting Jenni's book forever, so I'm going to have to say Pride and Popularity. If we hadn't moved I'd have stalked her for a copy. You're right--she's totally awesome.

Oooo I gotta say I'm with you on the book cover popping right out at me. If I saw Everneath in the store I would immediately grab it and flip it over to see what wonderful story it held. So I would want Everneath :) Congrats on the 100 followers by the way! I will have to do a giveaway as well when I hit 100. So fun:)

It's so cool how fast you gathered 100 followers! Hopefully you recollect all of your 500 from your old blog.

I also swooned over the cover of Everneath and saved it as a goodreads "to read". I would LOVE to have a copy!

The Noveling Journey

cr: Diter Laskowski This past weekend I spent 10+ hours in a minivan with four small children. One of those children is only eighteen months old. On top of being squirmy, said child had started antibiotics for an ear infection only the day before. He can also scream very loud. As one must do with such an experience, I tried to find the positive. It was either that or breakdown and sob which wouldn't do anyone good. What I came to realize in the anxiety to and from my destination, was that I had been going about noveling all wrong. And trust me, it wasn't a negative thought. One thing I know about road trips is that if I want to get somewhere, I have to keep going. Stopping at Buc-ee's is really fun. It's great to stretch my legs and buy myself some beaver nuggets, but it's not going to get me anywhere. The longer I hang out at Buc-ee's, the later I'll show up. Writing is the same.
